“The pandemic, the sanctions confrontation between world powers, the disruption of traditional trade routes, various conflicts and wars have caused enormous damage to the development of countries around the world. The consequences of this situation have also affected Kazakhstan. However, we took the necessary measures in a timely manner. While preserving the potential of the domestic economy, we continued its dynamic development. Since 2019, the country’s economic growth has amounted to 16%, and this year the figure has approached 137 trillion tenge, or 291 billion US dollars. It is possible that these figures may even be surpassed. This shows that Kazakhstan has the largest economy in our region. GDP per capita has increased by 47%, reaching 14,400 US dollars. This is one of the highest levels among the CIS countries,” said the Head of State.

According to him, Kazakhstan’s gold and foreign exchange reserves have reached 58 billion US dollars. Over the past seven years, foreign trade turnover has increased by 83%, and today its volume amounts to 142 billion US dollars.
