A trade and economic mission of Kazakhstan, organized by the Ministry of Trade and Integration and “QazTrade,” was held in Tashkent. The event brought together Kazakh companies representing construction materials, food and light industries, mechanical engineering, chemistry, and processing sectors.
“The mission in Tashkent is an opportunity for companies not just to present their products but to immediately enter the market of a neighboring country, negotiate deliveries, and begin exports. We support participants at every stage — from arranging meetings to translation and logistics,” said Deputy Minister of Trade and Integration Aidar Abildabekov.
“This is not just a delegation or a series of protocol speeches. These are concrete negotiations with buyers ready to purchase Kazakh products. Export agreements worth $73.5 million have already been signed. We see strong demand from Uzbekistan for sunflower oil, meat, and sugar,” added representatives of QazTrade.
According to the ministry, trade between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan continues to grow steadily. In the first eight months of this year, the trade turnover increased by almost 18.5% to reach $3 billion, while Kazakh exports rose by more than 26.7% to $2.2 billion.
