The Kazakh delegation, led by the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerbol Myrzabosynov, visited key sports facilities in Tashkent as part of an official working trip to the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the visit, the delegation studied the infrastructure, athlete training systems, and management practices of the country’s leading sports centers.

The first stop was the Olympic Town – a multifunctional cluster that includes a 12,000-seat stadium, a velodrome, an aquatic sports palace, arenas for martial arts and team sports, as well as a dormitory and a Scientific and Practical Center for Sports Medicine. The complex is built to international standards and is designed to host major international competitions.

Next, the delegation was presented with the operations of the National Football Center, which houses an academy, training bases, analytical services, a VAR center, a medical unit, and infrastructure for preparing national teams. Special attention was paid to athlete selection systems, training methodologies, and medical support.

Concluding the tour, the delegation visited the Bahodir Jalolov Boxing School, which offers comprehensive conditions for boxer training – from practice to accommodation and recovery. The institution trains athletes to international standards and ensures continuity in preparation.

Following the visit, Yerbol Myrzabosynov emphasized the importance of bilateral exchange of experience in key areas such as infrastructure, sports science, coach training, and youth development. Both sides expressed readiness to expand practical cooperation, including joint events, internships, and expert exchanges.

The working trip took place within the framework of the 9th meeting of ministers responsible for youth and sports of the Organization of Turkic States, where the Kazakh delegation presented initiatives aimed at strengthening partnerships and developing joint sports projects.
