The National Academic Library of Kazakhstan hosted the presentation of "Ұрпаққа Ұлағат. A Legacy for Future Generations", an adapted version of Abai Kunanbayev’s The Book of Words of Edification, translated into seven languages. The event was held as part of the 180th anniversary celebrations of the Kazakh poet and philosopher.

The publication serves as a cultural bridge between Kazakhstan and the world, introducing readers to Abai’s philosophy on morality, education, society, and spiritual development—ideas that remain relevant today.

The adapted version was prepared by educator Gulmira Amandykova, renowned for her unique methodology in teaching the Kazakh language and promoting national values among youth.

The book has been translated into English, Spanish, Chinese, German, Russian, Turkish, and French. Reviewers and consultants for the edition include the Ambassador of Spain Luis Francisco Martínez Montes, Honorary Consul of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan Dominique Pages, French scholar Catherine Poujal, Chinese writer and translator Akbar Majit, German author Anna Tuckermann, and Professor Rafet Ozhan from Ankara University.
