Kazakhfilm studio presented Kazakh cinema at the international television market MIPCOM 2025 in Cannes. The event traditionally took place at the iconic Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, bringing together leading figures from the global television, streaming, and digital content industries.
Audiences and international partners were introduced to a diverse lineup of feature, documentary, and animated films from the studio’s golden collection, as well as new titles produced with the support of the State Center for Support of National Cinema.
During the forum, Kazakhfilm representatives held meetings with international distributors and producers, presenting Kazakh film and television projects. These discussions marked an important step toward promoting national content on the global market and opened new opportunities for collaboration.
MIPCOM is regarded as one of the world’s largest professional platforms for the television and digital industries. The 2025 edition brought together over 10,000 participants from 107 countries, including representatives from major markets such as the UK, the US, France, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, Canada, Spain, and Italy.
According to the organizers, around 3,000 content buyers attended the event in Cannes, while more than 350 companies showcased their projects.
