As part of the Republic Day celebrations and the Year of Skilled Professions, the exhibition “Óz Jerim: Urban Nomads” continues in Astana. The project brings together leading Kazakhstani artists to explore themes of labor, creativity, and urban identity, reports the official website of the city administration.

Hosted at the ÓzgeEpic Creative Hub, the exhibition features over 40 works of contemporary art by 20 artists from across Kazakhstan. The “Óz Jerim: Urban Nomads” symposium has also become an open platform for dialogue and collaboration, supporting artistic initiatives and promoting cultural exchange.

Among the participants are Ravil Abdulov, Altynshash Alpysbayeva, Anar Aubakir, Toleugazy Baigaliev, Armat Bektas, Bakytnur Burdesbekov, Vadim Bykov, Gulnara Dairova, Renat Elubaev, Umirbek Zhubaniyazov, and others. During the symposium, artists created new works addressing labor, community, and the connection between humans and the urban environment.

A highlight of the program was a collaborative master class where participants completed a large-scale painting symbolizing unity, creativity, and work.

The exhibition “Óz Jerim: Urban Nomads” is open to visitors until November 15 at the ÓzgeEpic Creative Hub (12a Beybarys Sultan Street).
