Chinese broadcaster Hunan TV has unveiled a promo for its new project “Voice Beyond Horizon,” filmed across key tourist destinations in Kazakhstan. The program will showcase the country’s tourism potential to a multi-million audience.

The project was initiated by Dimash Kudaibergen in partnership with Hunan Broadcasting System. In September, the production team and participants traveled more than 7,400 kilometers across Kazakhstan’s regions. Over 22 days, they explored the country’s natural and cultural landmarks.

In the new project Voice Beyond Horizon, Dimash, as the initiator, invited eight singers from different countries. Together, they traveled to Kazakhstan, using their voices to connect the civilizations of the millennia-old Silk Road and begin a musical journey.

Performers from Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Malaysia, and Serbia took part in the filming. The route covered major tourist sites, including ancient Turkistan — the spiritual center of the Silk Road, the dramatic landscapes of Bozzhyra and the Caspian coast in Mangystau Region, natural highlights of the Almaty Region such as Lake Kaindy and Saty village, Kapshagay Reservoir, Lake Kobeytuz, and the Burabay resort area in the Akmola Region.

The premiere of “Voice Beyond Horizon” is scheduled for next year.

The project was supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, Kazakh Tourism National Company, and regional akimats.
