The first professional theater has opened in Ekibastuz, based at the “Oner” Cultural Center. The inaugural season began with the drama "Qosh, makhabbat!" based on the work of Mukagali Makatayev.
The production was directed by Bibiazhar Dikhan, known to local audiences for the play "Tanakoz". The staging explores timeless themes of love, emotion, and human depth through poetic expression.
The theater’s troupe consists of 12 professional actors from cities across Kazakhstan. Despite its recent launch, the team has already presented several productions, including "Bir tup alma aghashy" by Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Alimbek Orazbekov, directed by Adilet Akanov. The performance featured not only professional actors but also local residents involved through creative community groups.
