The Italian circus Belissimo will perform in Almaty for the first time, QazMonitor reports. The shows will take place at the Almaty Circus under the direction of Flavio and Bruno Toni on February 14 and March 24.
Belissimo combines acrobatic and equilibrist acts, tiger performances—including Bengal, white, and, for the first time in Central Asia, golden tigers—as well as horse acts, juggling, tightrope walking, and aerial stunts. Bruno Toni’s tiger training draws particular attention, with ten tigers appearing on the stage simultaneously.
Flavio and Bruno Toni represent a renowned circus dynasty dating back to 1873 and have won five awards at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival. Flavio holds the “Golden Clown” award and three silver awards, including one received at age 16 for a performance with 13 elephants. Bruno is known internationally as a tiger trainer.
The Belissimo program is designed for family audiences, blending high-level professional artistry with audience interaction. This is its first presentation in Central Asia.
Ticket prices range from 2,000 to 9,000 tenge. Children under four may attend free of charge but without a separate seat.
