President: Kazakhstan Aims to Become Fully Digital Nation Within Three Years

President Tokayev announced that digitalization and artificial intelligence have been declared national development priorities

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that Kazakhstan intends to transform into a digital nation within three years, the Akorda press service reports. In his speech at the event dedicated to Republic Day, he emphasized that young entrepreneurs, scientists, engineers, and IT specialists are forming the country’s new elite, while innovation is becoming an important trait of the national character.

Tokayev emphasized that the country needs to establish a modern ecosystem to support startups and accelerate its transition to a knowledge-based economy, where creativity and innovation will become the main drivers of growth.
