The Digital Government Support Center has launched the Academy of IT Architects, a new educational initiative to foster a unified and coherent approach to government digital systems. The program seeks to reduce fragmentation, promote reuse of digital modules, and ensure technological compatibility across state platforms.
The Academy will provide practical training in process reengineering, IT architecture design, AI implementation, and project-based management of digital services.
Training begins in December 2025, with the first cohort studying free of charge. Applications are open until 15 December at govtec.kz.
“The creation of the Academy of IT Architects is an investment in the quality of digital solutions. We are training specialists who will design services based on the needs of citizens and the principles of unified architecture,” said Bakhtiyar Mukhametkaliev, Director General of the Center.
In August 2025, the Architectural Council was established under the Center, bringing together central government bodies and the quasi-public sector.
