Thai President Foods: The Bangkok-based instant noodle manufacturer and distributor, Thai President Foods, is looking at Kazakhstan as a regional logistics hub for supplying its products to the local market and markets across Central Asia and the Eurasian Economic Union.
The company, founded in 1972, is Thailand's biggest instant noodle maker, holding over 50% of the market as of 2020.
Director Pojjana Paniangvait expressed openness to potentially setting up production facilities in Kazakhstan in the future.
Sea Value: Thailand’s second-largest canned tuna producer, Sea Value, plans to invest in the Kazakh market. Chanintr Chalisarapong, the company’s Senior Vice President, revealed intentions to set up a distribution center in Kazakhstan, catering to both the local market and other countries in Central Asia.
The company, founded in 2004, operates three processing plants in Thailand and one in France. They sell a range of food products like canned tuna, sardines, mackerel, pilchard, and pouch tuna. They also offer a premium line of pet food.
Really Cool Airlines: An aviation startup, Really Cool Airlines, aims to expand transport links between Kazakhstan and Thailand. CEO Patee Sarasin stated they're arranging flights not just between Astana and Bangkok but also other key cities in both countries.
Established on March 22, 2023, the airline plans to start operations this September.
