Kazakhstan to Export Pike-Perch Fillets to Germany, Denmark, and Norway

The plant produces fish products meeting international quality standards

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the fishing industry is being revived in the Kyzylorda Region. The new Qarashalan Balyk plant, located in the Aral District, will process up to 6,000 tons of fish products annually.

“The plant is equipped with modern, high-tech machinery and is focused on producing environmentally friendly products that meet international quality and safety standards,”

the Ministry said.

The ministry reported that 430 million tenge have been invested in the new facility. The plant will produce pike-perch fillets and export them to Germany, Denmark, and Norway.

“The launch of Qarashalan Balyk marks an important step in modernizing the fishing industry and contributes to the sustainable socio-economic development of the region, the revival of fishing traditions, and the responsible use of natural resources in the Aral Basin,”
