According to a statement from the Ministry of Industry and Construction, five new deposits of solid minerals have been officially registered in Kazakhstan over the first nine months of 2025. The new additions have significantly increased the country’s mineral reserves.

The ministry noted that systematic efforts are being made to ensure the efficient and sustainable use of subsoil resources. Geological exploration has boosted Kazakhstan’s reserves by 97.8 tons of gold, 11.9 tons of silver, and 36,400 tons of copper.

“This progress was made possible by the growing investment appeal of the sector. In 2025, 7.6 billion tenge were allocated from the state budget to explore 41 new sites,” the ministry’s press service said.

Officials also highlighted the launch of the Unified Subsoil Use Platform, a digital system designed to automate the process of obtaining exploration and extraction rights. The platform currently hosts over 66,000 geological reports, accessible to potential investors — a move aimed at increasing transparency in the mining industry.
