A major investment project on deep grain processing is being implemented in Kazakhstan with the participation of Singapore-based XIYU AGRICULTURAL PTE LTD. The total investment amounts to around $250 million, with a three-year implementation period.
The upcoming agro-industrial complex will process up to 720,000 tons of agricultural products annually, including wheat, barley, and sunflower. The facility will produce gluten, citric acid, and unrefined sunflower oil, primarily for export.
To support the project, the Tobol grain elevator with a capacity of 90,000 tons has been modernized, including gasification, railway repairs, installation of new drying and weighing systems, and the creation of a modern container site for exports.
The complex’s output will be exported to Europe, China, Turkey, and the Middle East, enhancing the region’s export capacity and attracting additional foreign investment into Kazakhstan’s agricultural sector.
