The city of Sergeevka in the Shal Akyn district of North Kazakhstan Region has opened Kazakhstan’s first district-level creative IT center, Esil.AI. The project was launched as part of the Digital Keruen regional initiative and will operate within the Qyzyljar Creative Center network.
The center aims to foster digital literacy, innovative thinking, and IT entrepreneurship among rural residents.
Located in the district library building and covering 134 square meters across two floors, Esil.AI is equipped with laptops, an interactive panel, a training drone, and a 3D printer. It already offers courses in artificial intelligence, digital skills, design, and creative professions.
Training is provided in stages, from basic to advanced levels. Plans include introducing online courses and mobile workshops for residents across the district. The project is open to all interested participants.
