A major urban development project is underway in Aktobe, where the new Altyn Orda social and business center is being constructed. The complex will combine cultural, sports, and public facilities and is expected to become a key community hub.
According to Aktobe mayor Azamat Beket, the center will cover 165.8 hectares and include a 700-seat regional drama theater, a 34,980-seat football stadium, a 5,000-seat multi-purpose sports facility, hotels, retail and entertainment sites, educational institutions, and a 59-hectare park designed to resemble the map of Kazakhstan.
The site is located in the Altyn Orda district and has access to existing infrastructure. Public spaces and recreational areas will be developed around the facilities.
Part of the land is designated for engineering infrastructure, while 168 hectares will be allocated for social and commercial development. Land plots for business projects will be distributed through a commission.
Construction is already underway. The drama theater is at the foundation stage; the sports complex site is being prepared; and initial work is ongoing at the stadium. All works are proceeding according to schedule.
