As part of a pilot project to integrate taxi aggregators into the invataxi service for people with special needs, initiated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, 401,900 rides were provided in Astana and Almaty since the beginning of 2025.

For comparison, 207,200 rides were made in 2024.

The initiative aims to improve service quality and speed, as previously users had to book rides by phone one day in advance and faced long waiting times and a lack of available vehicles.

Under the pilot, taxi aggregators participate without charging commission fees. Yandex joined the project on a pro bono basis.

The pilot will continue in 2025 in Astana and Almaty with a focus group of users. Further expansion to other regions is planned.
