On December 10, 2025, the Board of Directors of JSC KazTransOil approved the establishment of the Company’s branch office in the Republic of Poland. This will be KazTransOil’s first representative office within the European Union, QazMonitor reports, citing the company's press service.
The branch is being opened to protect the Company’s interests in Poland and to support the organization of Kazakh oil transportation through foreign pipeline systems, including transit via the territory of Belarus. It will also be responsible for accounting and custody operations related to the receipt and delivery of Kazakh oil at the Adamova Zastava delivery point for further shipments to European markets.
The project is strategically important for ensuring stable supplies of Kazakh oil to Germany, including deliveries to the Schwedt refinery. The opening of the Polish branch is part of KazTransOil’s priority objectives and is expected to contribute to the development of alternative international oil transportation routes, strengthening supply reliability and Kazakhstan’s position in the global energy market.
