Kazakhstan Ranks 42nd Globally for Order and Security in Rule of Law Index 2025

Country places sixth among Eastern Europe and Central Asia, according to World Justice Project

Kazakhstan ranked 42nd out of 143 countries under the Order and Security factor in the Rule of Law Index 2025, according to data from the World Justice Project, QazMonitor reports.

The indicator measures the level of public order and safety in countries. A year earlier, Kazakhstan ranked 43rd in this category.

Among countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Kazakhstan placed sixth in the ranking.

In 2025, Kazakhstan outperformed France, Italy, Portugal, Georgia, Turkey, Greece and Russia under the Order and Security factor, which assesses crime control, civil conflict, and the effectiveness of security institutions.
