Kazakhstan’s foreign missions have reached agreements with the competent authorities of several states to assist in the evacuation of Kazakh citizens from Iran through neighboring countries, QazMonitor reports.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a mechanism has been agreed with Armenia to allow Kazakh citizens to cross the Iran–Armenia border without obstacles if exiting through Armenian territory. Ongoing coordination is being maintained with the country’s foreign ministry.

Turkmenistan has also confirmed its readiness to assist with border crossings for the evacuation of Kazakh citizens.

The work in this direction is ongoing. Additional information is being published on the official resources of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Kazakhstan’s foreign missions.

To ensure оперативное communication, the Ministry has utilized digital tools, including the infrastructure of Kaspi, to distribute official information and guidance via mobile devices.

Until the situation in the region stabilizes, citizens are advised to remain calm, comply with local authorities’ requirements, avoid high-risk areas, and take into account temporary restrictions. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
