World Leaders Congratulate Kazakhstan on Republic Day

Leaders of China, Turkiye, the US, France, and other countries show support for Kazakhstan's development

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received congratulatory messages from heads of foreign countries and international organizations on Republic Day which was celebrated yesterday, October 25, QazMonitor reports.

President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, in his message, praised the reforms initiated by the Kazakh President to build ‘New Kazakhstan’ and also noted the substantial and fruitful nature of his recent state visit to Astana.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that Turkiye, which was the first country to recognize the independence of the fraternal nation of Kazakhstan, has been proudly observing the country's achievements in all spheres over the past 30 years.

French President Emmanuel Macron said he was very pleased with the dynamic development of the bilateral dialogue in the year of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrote in a statement that the United States strongly supports Kazakhstan’s reform agenda and encourages its full implementation through concrete, transparent actions.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres also warmly congratulated the people of Kazakhstan and Tokayev on Republic Day.

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ibrahim Raisi, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurlsukh, President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen, President of Croatia Zoran Milanovich, President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Souza, President of Serbia Alexander Vucic, President of Singapore Halima Jakob, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chair of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Chair of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Hissan Brahim Taha and others also sent their congratulations.
