Kazakh figure skater Mikhail Shaidorov has arrived in Milan to prepare for the Winter Olympic Games and has entered the final phase of training on the Olympic ice, QazMonitor reports.
His arrival in Italy marks the transition to final preparations and adaptation to the ice at the Olympic venue.
During training sessions, Shaidorov practiced his full set of jumps, including the triple toe loop and Salchow, triple flip, a triple Lutz–double Axel combination, as well as multiple attempts at the triple Axel, including a triple Axel–single–triple Salchow combination. Special attention was given to the consistency of the Axel.
Training is focused on skating skills, rhythm and connecting elements of the program. Sessions are conducted under the guidance of Olympic champion Alexei Urmanov.
Shaidorov is ranked among the world’s leading figure skaters and holds strong positions in the ISU international rankings. His Olympic preparations are now in an active phase, with the program being finalized as a cohesive structure and each element integrated into the overall performance composition.
