Kazakh speed skater Yevgeniy Koshkin won the exhibition tournament Silver Ball for the second consecutive year in Leeuwarden, QazMonitor reports, citing the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture.
In the 100-meter final, Koshkin recorded a time of 9.56 seconds, finishing ahead of Dutch skaters Stefan Westenbroek (9.69) and Mats van den Bos (9.82).
The tournament also featured Olympic champion Jordan Stolz and reigning world champion Jenning de Boo.
In 2025, Koshkin became the first Kazakh athlete to win the tournament. Earlier this month, he finished ninth in the 500-meter race at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
