As part of the Kazakhstan–Finland business forum in Astana, the domestic company TÖR’RE signed a memorandum of cooperation with the well-known Finnish brand Honka, which specializes in wooden housing construction and environmentally friendly residential solutions. The document aims to introduce eco-friendly technologies, develop comfortable tourism infrastructure, and preserve the natural environment.
TÖR’RE intends to develop a resort area in the city of Akkol. Earlier, KZT 4.5 billion was invested in the first stage of the project, during which the Wyndham Residences Aqkol hotel was built. Now, the construction of more than 50 tourist houses is planned.
"We adhere to sustainable development standards. Having analyzed housing construction technologies in different countries, we will choose solutions that meet our requirements for environmental friendliness, technological efficiency, and quality. Since March of this year, we have been negotiating with the Finnish company Honka. The wood of this brand is considered one of the best in the world. We are exploring the possibility of applying these technologies in Kazakhstan," noted Timur Kozhubekov, Chairman of the Board of TÖR’RE.
The cooperation opens opportunities for introducing advanced Finnish technologies and strengthening international partnership in the field of sustainable development.
