A world-class water park with a total area of about 120,000 square meters is planned in Turkistan, QazMonitor reports.
The project was discussed by Turkistan Region Governor Nuralhan Kusherov and a foreign investor. The entertainment complex is expected to include a water park with attractions, a camping-style hotel, a visitor center, and a banquet hall. The project is aimed at developing family tourism.
A key feature of the complex will be its year-round operation. In summer, a local reservoir will be used for swimming, while in winter it will be transformed into a karting track. The water park will feature high slides, a tornado-style attraction, a water castle, a rainbow slide, and interactive play zones.
