The European television channel Euronews will present a new episode of its Modern Nomads program dedicated to Kazakhstan’s winter tourism potential.
The episode will air in February, be broadcast in 11 languages, and reach international audiences in more than 160 countries worldwide, QazMonitor reports.
Kazakh Tourism, together with the Shymbulak ski resort and the Ile-Alatau National Park, supported the organization and filming of the project.
The program focuses on the infrastructure and development of the Almaty Mountain Cluster. The Euronews film crew visited one of Central Asia’s leading winter destinations — the Shymbulak ski resort. The episode will showcase modern cable cars, ski runs of varying difficulty levels, and tourism infrastructure facilities across the entire resort area.
Special attention is also given to the scenic landscapes of Big Almaty Lake, one of the region’s most recognizable natural landmarks.
