A special issue of the Belgian magazine Porschist will focus on tourism in Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports, citing the Almaty City Tourism Department.
The edition will present five cities—Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Turkestan, and Baikonur—as distinct travel destinations with their own culture, architecture, and visual identity.
Almaty will be the central focus of the issue. The magazine highlights the city’s urban spaces, architecture, cultural environment, and the landscapes of the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountains, which served as a backdrop for Porsche vehicles. Through visual storytelling, the editors aim to convey the atmosphere of Almaty as a center of style, gastronomy, creative industries, and active tourism. The special edition was filmed in summer 2025.
Porschist is a European print magazine and online platform with an international audience of Porsche enthusiasts. Published for more than 20 years, each issue focuses on a specific country, presenting it through the lens of automotive aesthetics, culture, and lifestyle.
