A presentation of Kazakhstan’s tourism opportunities was held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of Belgium, with the participation of more than 20 Belgian travel companies and representatives of Kazakh tour operators from Almaty, QazMonitor reports.

The event aimed to establish direct business contacts and include Kazakhstan in the offerings of the Belgian tourism market in the upcoming seasons.

The presentation was supported by Kazakh Tourism, the Brussels office of Turkish Airlines, and Kazakh Tourism Ambassador to Belgium Derya Soysal. The program included B2B meetings and negotiations between tour operators of both countries.

Opening the event, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Belgium Roman Vassilenko emphasized its practical focus.

The Kazakh side presented routes in eco-tourism, cultural and educational tourism, and adventure tourism, as well as offers for premium small groups and individual travelers. Special attention was given to tailor-made programs, natural locations, and combined tour options.

According to the organizers, about 6,200 Belgian citizens visited Kazakhstan in 2025, up 15% compared to 2024.

Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakh Tourism Talgat Gazizov said the European market shows steady interest in destinations with distinctive natural and cultural content, adding that the company’s task is to ensure a competitive product and professional partner support when entering new segments of the European tourism market.

Additional attention to Kazakhstan is generated through international media projects. The new season of the French TV show Pékin Express: Le Chemin des Glaces, filmed in several regions of Kazakhstan, airs in prime time and reaches an audience of more than 3 million viewers.
