Turkey No Longer Requires PCR Test for Entry

COVID-19 antigen test also cancelled starting June 1

Great news for all travelers! Turkey is lifting some of its COVID-19 restrictions regarding the mandatory testing PCR and antigen testing.  

As of June 1, 2022, a negative PCR test report made maximum of 72 hours before entry or a negative rapid antigen test performed within a maximum of 48 hours from entry will not be required for entering the country through all border gates, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey reports.

This update is given in the document named A Circular on “Measures for Entry into the Country", which was sent to 81 Provincial Governorships. The document also states the following:
